What gets deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed within 30 days:
- Your account and login credentials
- Your style profile (age range, identity, texting style, writing samples)
- All generated replies and conversation history
- Your rating and feedback data
- Any usage credits or purchase history in our system
Anonymized, aggregated usage statistics that cannot be traced back to you may be retained.
Before you delete
Subscriptions. Deleting your account does not automatically cancel active subscriptions. If you have an active subscription, cancel it first:
- Android: Google Play → Profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Text Me Back AI → Cancel
- iOS: Settings → Your name → Subscriptions → Text Me Back AI → Cancel
How to delete your account
Option 1 — In the app (fastest):
- Open Text Me Back AI
- Go to Profile → Settings
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
Option 2 — Email request:Send an email to
privacy@textmeback.ai with the subject line
"Delete My Account" from the email address associated with your account. We will process your request within 7 business days and confirm by email when complete.
